Maternity sessions with Marina Pochepkina start at $250 USD for a mini session (up to 30 minutes, up to 100 edited images). The full session is $450 USD and includes up to 200 edited images plus all unedited files. Both include a private online gallery. A $100 retainer is required to book.

Between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy is ideal — the belly is beautifully round and most mamas-to-be still feel comfortable and mobile. Sessions are scheduled at golden hour for the most flattering, warm light.

Can my partner join the maternity session?

Absolutely — partners are welcome and encouraged. Most of Marina's maternity sessions include the partner, and those are often the most emotional and beautiful images of the entire gallery.

Where are maternity sessions held in Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita?

Sessions take place on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita, and Nuevo Vallarta — including near Four Seasons, St. Regis, Conrad, Vidanta, Grand Velas, and private villa properties. Marina recommends the best location based on where you're staying.

Sessions are scheduled at golden hour — the most flattering, warmest light of the day. I'll guide you the whole time: where to stand, how to move, when the light is doing something magical.

Between 28 and 36 weeks is the sweet spot — the belly is beautifully round and most mamas still feel comfortable and mobile on the beach. That said, every pregnancy is different. Reach out and we'll find the right timing for you.

Can my partner be in the photos?

Yes — and I love when they are. Partners are always welcome, and honestly some of the most beautiful images from a maternity session are the ones between the two of you. The connection, the anticipation, the joy — it all shows.

Can I bring my older kids too?

Absolutely. If you have little ones at home who are about to become a big brother or sister, including them can make for some of the most special photos of the whole session. Just let me know when you book so we plan the timing right.

What should I wear?

Flowy dresses, soft neutrals, or even a simple wrap — anything that shows the belly beautifully and moves well in the ocean breeze. I'll send you a full guide after booking with specific ideas for the Vallarta light and beach setting.
